Founded on the principles of education, advocacy, and community collaboration, our mission is to foster positive relationships, and build pathways for girls to enter fields such as law enforcement and other first responder careers.
We are proud to be the home of the Police and Princess Ball, a signature event that brings together girls, the community and law enforcement officers to promote positive connections, community engagement, and a shared commitment to safety and empowerment.

Meet Our Founder
Tracey Duffy is a dedicated leader and advocate with a lifelong commitment to serving and empowering others. With a distinguished career in law enforcement and a U.S. military veteran, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to the mission of HerShield Foundation.
Acknowledging the distinct challenges encountered by women and girls in marginalized communities, she established HerShield with the aim of inspiring, educating, and generating opportunities for emerging leaders, particularly within law enforcement and other first responder professions.
As a mother, mentor, and visionary, Tracey is driven by a belief in the power of collaboration and community to build a safer and more equitable world. HerShield embodies her vision of breaking barriers, fostering resilience, and moving forward together.
